A blend of watermelon, peach, and strawberries that creates a fresh, fruity, and sweet flavour, complemented by a mint sugar mixture to give it a more rounded taste. A seriously delicious drink for a seriously hot summer day!
The summer has officially hit us in the Netherlands. Summer just took some time to find a parking spot, it seems, but it did, and we can finally emerge from our caves and wear our short pants and prettiest dresses. But with wonderful sunny days also come heatwaves, sunburns (looking like a walking rotisserie chicken), and loads upon loads of sweat. I have no solution to the sweating, but I do have a solution to looking like a rotisserie chicken: wearing your sunblock (trust me, it’s important). Additionally, my new mini-series of Summery Rosé Blends that you can make to cool off and feel all luxe under the hot summery sun. There will be three drinks in this series, and the first one is Frosé Punch, and it only takes 15 minutes to whip up! It’s fresh and fruity so do try it out and leave a comment down below if you enjoy it!

Frosé Punch
Ingredients
- 300 ml Rosé
- 70 g Frozen Watermelon rind removed
- 70 g Frozen Peach peeled and destoned
- 80 g Frozen Strawberries capped
Garnish (on the glasses rims)
- 2 leaves Fresh Mint finely chopped
- Lemon Juice
- Fine white Sugar/Castor Sugar
Instructions
- Prepare two shallow bowls that are wide enough to fit the rims of your wine glasses. Pour lemon juice into one bowl and sugar into the other. Add the finely chopped mint leaves to the sugar and mix until well incorporated. For a stronger mint flavor, use clean fingers to rub the mint leaves into the sugar until the mixture takes on a light green tint.
- Take two wine glasses and dip their rims into the lemon juice first, then into the mint sugar mixture.
- In a smoothie or regular blender (ensure it can handle frozen fruits, ice, or alcoholic drinks), add the frozen watermelon, peach, strawberries and rosé. Blend until smooth.
- Pour the frosé punch into he wine glasses with garnished rims. Sprinkle a little of the remaining mint sugar mixture over the drink as a extra garnish.
- Serve directly and enjoy!
